Play Therapy

Children can find it hard to put their difficult experiences, feelings and worries into words. Play Therapy provides healing and repair through play. In child-centered play therapy the therapist creates a safe, confidential play environment that a child needs to explore and express his or her feelings and experiences.

Children's Area

Hi, my name is Cathy. I work with children who may have mixed up feelings or who might have experienced something difficult. You may be feeling sad, nervous, scared or angry. My job is to help you with those feelings through playing. Then you can feel better. Play is pretty cool in that way! You don’t have to explain things to me, it can be hard to talk about feelings.

Supporting Parents

As a parent myself, I understand that parenting can be the most rewarding job in the world but it can also be tough, very tough. There are countless parenting books out there offering many techniques. Yet you’ll find that each child is unique and don’t fit these one size fits all type of guides.
