Tracking

What is it?

Tracking is looking for tracks and signs of animals and bird life that live and wander through the woodland area or other areas.

For me tracking brings me to nature connection with a touch of magical awe that brings joy to my soul. It brings me back to the 10yr old child I was - who’s imagination found delight in woodland wonders of furry rabbits playing together or fox cubs and then the pure joy when a den was found as proof of their existence! A place where curiosity and delight joined together.

So fast forward 30 or so years and here I am as an avid tracker – learning from the lovely Lucy O Hagan and John Ryder with certification in Cybertracker evaluation. A Muddy path is now a friendly ally where one can discover animal tracks or prints. I wish to share my heartful knowledge as a way of nature connection and bringing to life in a felt sense the ecosystem we live in.

I offer family tracking workshops and walks.

On these workshops you will:

  • Gain understanding of animal behaviour
  • Learn to know what signs to look out for of animals presence.
  • Distinguish the difference between our native animal tracks

Contact me if you wish to know more about tracking workshops or to be added to my list of contacts for the next offering.
